WITHDRAWAL OF PRIVATE HEALTH ADMINISTRATION COUNCIL REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

With effect from the date of this circular, the Private Health Insurance Administration Council Reporting Requirements, last issued 31 May 2005, are withdrawn.

PHIAC considers that amendments to the accounting regime applicable to private health insurance organisations provides sufficient guidance for, and uniformity in, the preparation of financial reports.

Protecting consumers of private health insurance by ensuring an industry which is competitive, efficient and financially sound.
