CAPITAL ADEQUACY STANDARDS – MARKET YIELD RATE

PHIAC has determined that the market yield applicable to the calculation of the Renewal Option Reserve to be applied by all private health insurers for the quarter ended 30 June 2007 is 6.346% per annum.


The investment earnings rate as prescribed in Schedule 3 of the Private Health Insurance (Health Benefits Fund Administration Rules) 2007 is 5.346% per annum.
