Health in Community Languages

The page offers links to external sources providing information about health issues in community languages, support available for the communities and charters to be informed about your rights and responsibilities as a private patient in hospital.

If you need an interpreter, you can call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 131 450. The TIS is available 24/7 and can put you in contact with an interpreter if you need to contact a government agency to obtain information. Over a 100 different languages are available.
